Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of Distill.codes, an optimization proxy for AI coding agents.

Service

Distill.codes helps AI coding agents produce cleaner, smaller, lower-maintenance code changes by applying prompt profiles to supported provider requests.

The Service is a proxy layer. You are responsible for your coding agent, provider account, provider API key or login, repository, prompts, generated output, and how you use that output.

Customer Content

You retain any ownership rights you have in prompts, code, repository context, provider request and response content, and other material sent through the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that material to the Service and the selected provider.

You grant MyDream Labs LLC a limited, non-exclusive right to receive, process, transform, and forward that material only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Service. Distill.codes does not acquire ownership of your material.

Provider Access

You keep your existing Anthropic or other supported provider access. Distill.codes does not replace your provider account and does not grant provider usage rights.

Provider terms, usage policies, rate limits, pricing, and availability continue to apply to your provider traffic.

Accounts and Keys

You are responsible for your Distill.codes account, proxy keys, provider credentials, and all activity under them.

Distill.codes proxy keys can be copied from the dashboard. We store encrypted keys for display and hashes for validation.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, bypass provider restrictions, attack systems, exfiltrate secrets, or interfere with the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Subscriptions and Trials

Paid plans are billed through Stripe unless another written arrangement applies. The current public plans are Personal and Company, with a 3-day trial where offered.

Taxes, provider charges, and other third-party fees are separate from Distill.codes subscription fees.

When a 3-day trial is offered, the selected paid subscription automatically begins when the trial ends and renews at the price, currency, and billing interval shown in Stripe Checkout unless you cancel before the trial or current billing period ends. By confirming checkout, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis for that subscription.

You can manage or cancel billing through the Stripe billing portal made available in the dashboard. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us.

No Output Guarantee

AI-generated code may be incorrect, insecure, incomplete, oversized, or unsuitable for your project. You are responsible for review, testing, security checks, and deployment decisions.

Benchmark claims, if shown, are informational and depend on task mix, agent behavior, model behavior, and repository context.

We do not guarantee smaller diffs, lower token usage, lower costs, faster completion, or better code quality for every task. Effects may be limited on short or simple tasks and may be more visible on longer, more complex tasks.

Disclaimers and Liability

The Service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyDream Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunity.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
